My name is Tim Abbott, and by trade, I’m an Information Technology Architect with a focus on cybersecurity. Specifically, my expertise rests in network security with nearly two decades of experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine. I even worked in the Cisco ISE BU as a Technical Marketing Engineer and helped create features such as Context Visibility and Multi-factor authentication (MFA) integration. That said, this site focuses mainly on my digital hobbies of photography and videography. Given my background, I really enjoy the technical nature of capturing pictures and video while being able to create something artistic. My subjects are just about anything I can point a camera towards. I find the artistic challenge of composition enjoyable. From lighting, framing, aperture, shutter speed, frame rate, compression, and codecs; there are so many things to consider, and don’t get me started on post-production.

Photography is just one of many hobbies I enjoy. You may even see some of the other things I’m interested in appear on the site from time to time.
